BA and bmi offer new travel options

BRITISH Airways and bmi have teamed up to offer Saudi customers the option to fly direct from Riyadh or Jeddah to London and onward to the US and Canada.

Customers can now purchase a single ticket for travel itineraries that include flights with bmi from Riyadh or Jeddah to London and onward with British Airways connecting flights to the USA and Canada.
“Our agreement with bmi provides our loyal customers with convenience as well as competitive pricing. Through this deal our customers will continue to enjoy all the benefits and awards that come with flying on British Airways,” says Richard Hirsch, British Airways’ manager for Saudi Arabia.
Economy fares to New York and Montreal start from just SR4100 ($1093) for travel from Riyadh and from SR4300 for travel from Jeddah. bmi currently operates from Riyadh on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. From May19, bmi will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Jeddah.
Customers can chose to fly in business or economy cabins with bmi to London, and then on to the USA or Canada in any of British Airways’ four cabins: First, Club World (business class), World Traveller Plus (premier economy) or World Traveller (economy).
This agreement will allow British Airways Executive Club members to continue to earn BA Miles and Tier Points on eligible fares as well as enjoy lounge access based on the cabin of travel or tier status.
