THE InterContinental Hotels Group – the world’s most global hotel company, will support Unicef’s initiative towards the educational development of youth in Oman.
Unicef Oman and its government partners are introducing a new initiative for youth, under which the role and development of Omani youth is fundamental in safeguarding this glorious legacy and continuing the enthusiasm of national development.
The InterContinental group Oman is proud to be the first partner to support Unicef Oman in their bid to improve the educational development of young Oman children, which is one of the major objectives set by Unicef and the Oman government, says a group spokesman.
The programme aims at developing and promoting healthy lifestyles among adolescents in Oman, enabling them to face responsibilities in life by improving their personal capabilities and prepare them to carry the torch and achieve the aspiration and hopes of the wise and creative leadership. The initiative is being conducted in collaboration with a team of experts from Sultan Qaboos University.
