Meeting planners can now take full advantage of the new MeetingMatrix in which the award-winning resort has recently invested. This useful software enables clients to create, view and modify meeting set-ups in multiple permutations via computer-drawn diagrams. The Catering and Conference Services team may now provide diagrams for all the ballrooms, meeting rooms and even outdoor locations such as the resort’s private island, and swimming pool area.
“Since we introduced MeetingMatrix to our meeting planners earlier this year, we have had an increased demand for the software from our corporate clients,” says director of sales and marketing Kenneth Hill. “This efficient tool eliminates miscommunication between the meeting planner and the conference manager, reduces time previously required to manually draw the floor plans, and allows for speedier communication flow between all parties as the diagrams may be emailed to the clients’ head offices for immediate feedback.”
The conferencing facilities at the Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa are among the finest in the Middle East, according to the hotel. The 245-room resort offers over 3,750 square metres of meeting, conference and banqueting facilities including a 1,195 square metre ballroom, a second 858 square metre ballroom, and four additional individual meeting rooms. The Grand Foyer, a spacious 1,428 square metres of marble lined pre-function space, is beautifully accented by panoramic floor to ceiling windows. The resort can accommodate conferences for up to 1000 people and yet the hotel retains its sense of intimate elegance, with its many secluded seating areas providing privacy and comfort.
Both ballrooms are equipped with advanced meeting room technology, high-speed internet laptop access and multiple telephone lines. The multimedia projectors and sophisticated lighting systems control lights, enabling the user to program lighting patterns. Individual temperature controls, sound proofed walls and partitions combined with luxurious conference seating enable delegates to focus on the contents of the meeting in comfortable surroundings.
The conference facilities are complemented by a team of certified Conference Service professionals, who are able to work in partnership with meeting planners to create a truly memorable event. A dedicated Conference Service Executive works side by side with the organizer throughout every phase of the meeting. The Business Centre is conveniently located in the lobby next to the reception, and is staffed with competent professionals eager to help with technical assistance, equipment rental and secretarial services.
