THE Al Bustan Residence-Hotel Apartments will return to ATM to renew relationships with travel agencies and tour operators, as well as to raise awareness of its product and services, says a hotel official.

“We have been participating in Arabian Travel Market Exhibition since 1996, and this year we’re participating once again with the aim of renewing our relationships with existing clients and, at the same time, achieving an increased awareness of the range of services, particularly in relation to hospitality,” says general manager Moussa El Hayek.
The hotel has recently completed a Dh70 million renovation and is concentrating on the Middle East, Far East and Indian markets, he says. “We have established a good rapport with GCC travel agencies, making our relationship more stable and firm in securing year-round business for the future. We are looking at some of the other markets that are showing an increased volume of traffic to Dubai, such as the UK, Germany, Malta, Turkey and the CIS.
“Our main aim is to promote Al Bustan Residence-Hotel Apartments as a family venue with its own identity and encourage short-term and long-term stays much like any other five-star hotel facility in the region, enabling us to target a much wider range of clients,” he says.
The Al Bustan Residence-Hotel Apartments has 640 furnished apartments comprising of studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments, a business centre with secretarial services and wide range of facilities from internet to four break-out rooms that can accommodate 75 people for meetings and hi-tech seminars.
The property has recently opened an all-day international dining restaurant, Al Nahda. Its multifunctional banquet and conference hall has a capacity of 200 people and can easily be adapted for conferences and receptions and facilities include state-of-the-art presentation equipment.
“We are in the process of redesigning and decorating and have successfully completed our new product, the opening of our deluxe floor complete with new facilities and services and guests can now have a choice to choose their accommodation from among executive Club to deluxe and standard floors.”
Other facilities at the hotel include the executive Club lounge, designed for the business traveller to relax and unwind in the perfect elegant ambience, executive Club rooms, Club suites and Club family suites, which, El Hayek says, are styled in a fresh and contemporary fashion.
The in-house shopping mall, the Al Bustan Centre, hosts nearly 80 retail outlets offering a variety of brands, a multi cuisine restaurant, a pastry shop and fast food outlets, as well as Fantasy Kingdom, one of the largest indoor amusement arcades in the UAE a children’s play area specially built to suit the needs of today’s child.
Guests have access to two tennis courts, a health club with sauna, steam room, massage and common swimming pool, and can avail of a daily shuttle bus to Al Mamzar Beach.
El Hayek says more developments are planned in the future.

Summer packages
The hotel will also be offering summer packages with added benefits. The Al Bustan Centre will host the various Dubai Summer Surprises during the 10 weeks commencing June 2006 to September 2006 and will also be participating in the Dubai Summer Malls Grand Promotion. The outlets will have their own discounts and sales, and there will be daily activities for children at the Al Bustan Centre.
