AS Dubai fast emerges as a popular MICE destination, the Dubai Convention Bureau (DCB) at the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has launched the third edition of its promotional The Definitive Meeting & Event Planner's Guide.
A basic handbook on organising an event in Dubai, the guide offers practical tips such as when to host events, an 8-year calendar, information on the various venues available (including some unique venues like the Emirates Golf Club and the Bateaux Dubai), details on five-, four- and three-star accommodation on offer, as well as basic sightseeing information.
The DCB provides local assistance during the initial planning stages of an event, including introductions to local industry and government contacts, development of pre and post tour programmes and building assistance.
