AS various destinations in the region target the MICE sector, with a number of world-class events now being held in the region, Festivale 2006 targets event professionals looking for innovative and inspirational ideas for new and existing events.

Festivale is billed the only dedicated conference for event management professionals in the region and takes place from April 23 to 26 at the Al Murooj Rotana Hotel in Dubai. Organisers IIR Middle East have created a programme that will help regional professionals introduce the latest global best practices into the regional market.
Building on the resounding success of last year’s event, organisers IIR Middle East have assembled a top quality line-up of 30 speakers that includes Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of Dubai’s Department of Civil Aviation, chairman of the Emirates Group and chairman of the DSS Supreme Committee, Charlotte J. DeWitt, president, International Events, USA, Saeed M Al Nabouda, CEO, Dubai Shopping Festival & Dubai Summer Surprises, Dr Annie Sidro, president Carnival Sans Frontières, France, and Sharif Hashisho director of ceremonies and cultural events, Doha Asian Games organising committee, Qatar.
