THE InterContinental Hotels Group will cede the management of its flagship InterContinental Hotel Dubai to Rezidor SAS.
The landmark Deira business district property, the emirate’s first five-star hotel, will carry the Radisson brand from October 1 this year. The hotel is popular with business travellers and the GCC leisure market. It features 287 guest-rooms, including 39 suites, a total of 16 food and beverage outlets and extensive meeting and exhibition facilities.
“We are honoured to take on this property. We are planning a major renovation programme to recapture the grandeur of the hotel,” says Kurt Ritter, president and CEO, Rezidor SAS Hospitality.
