HOTELS around the region are fast jumping aboard the spa tourism wagon, offering spa packages for guests looking beyond the weekend break.

Softouch @ Ajman Kempinski
The Kempinski Hotel Ajman boasts the first Ayurveda professional centre which practises Ayurveda as a medical system rather than just a massage centre. The Softouch Ayurveda Centre offers a wide range of treatments and massages for mental and physical well being – treating symptoms such as headaches and joint pains, improving the blood circulation, purifying the body and cleansing the channels of circulation. Zaitoon @ Arabian Courtyard
In celebration of its first-year anniversary, the Arabian Courtyard Hotel Bur Dubai opened its Zaitoon Spa. To those interested in a spa package, the hotel can create a three nights’ stay for two in a deluxe room inclusive of daily buffet breakfast for two and the Package of Total Wellness at Zaitoon Spa for around Dh2890, according to the hotel’s executive assistant manager Saqib Anwar.
Zaitoon’s internationally trained therapists offer a variety of massages and treatments, highly recommended of which is the Zaitoon Synchronize Massage, facial treatments for ladies and gents such as the Rose Dermpeel and Diamond Dermpeel. The traditional Hilot massage from the Philippines is also being introduced by Zaitoon using authentic oils.
Spa Water Villas @ Hilton Maldives
