RITZ-CARLTON Spas offer the finest luxury beauty and fitness products across the Gulf, well and truly setting themselves apart from the competition.
While the Ritz-Carlton, Doha Spa is the only spa in the Gulf to propose the products and treatments from Natura Bisse, the Ritz-Carlton Dubai will introduce La Maison de Beauté Carita facial and body treatments to guests at its spa this March.
Natura Bisse is a well-known Spanish brand that is most popular amongst Hollywood stars. It is especially renowned for its focus on the quality of the ingredients used in its products and its extensive line of products and treatments that suit all type of skins.
“The Ritz-Carlton, Doha Spa has chosen this brand because it offers more than just cosmetic treatments” says Kathryn Green, spa director. “Natura Bisse proposes multi-sensory experiences that not only stimulates, restructures and protects the skin but also unlocks the inner beauty every individual posses through a genuine environment of relaxation and well being. The perfect environment for establishing harmony between the mind, body and spirit, and optimizing receptivity to the benefits of the treatment.”
Complementing the Spa, a range of health and fitness facilities include a 25-metre indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi, indoor tennis and squash courts, a modern gymnasium with superb views of the marina, an aerobics studio and a yoga room.
“We are all able to make a difference in our own lives. It’s a matter of taking responsibility for ourselves and enjoying what life has to offer. There are so many aspects of spa and wellness one can choose from to incorporate into our daily life: nutrition, fitness, yoga, meditation, not to mention great Spa treatments available nowadays,” assures the specialist.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa is also the only one in Doha to propose the world-renowned body training system programs from LesMills. “Every three months our trainers are sent to Dubai to learn the new choreographies from LesMills certified professionals in order to implement them here and offer to our guests and members the latest fitness programs” specifies Green. “Body Combat, Body Balance, Body Pump, RPM are amongst the program we propose in addition to the Yoga or Fitness classes.”
The gym has also been renovated to propose extended fitness facilities to the guests and members as well as new spinning and yoga rooms.
The spat at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, launches Carita products this month. “A unique fusion of science and nature has made Carita the anti-aging skin care secret of some of the world’s most beautiful women for over half a century”, says Sarah Lumley, the director of spa and recreation of The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai.
The Carita brand takes its name from the Carita sisters, Maria and Rosy, who have been credited with creating Brigitte Bardot’s ponytail, Maria Callas’ chignon and Catherine Deneuve’s blond locks. The first female hairdressers in Paris, these were amazing women ahead of their time, with an incandescent talent that was both classic and eccentric. “The future is already here,” is something these free spirits often said, as they changed the rules of the beauty game at every level. They knew how to go almost too far and then stop just at the right moment, says a Riz-Carlton statement. After re-inventing hairstyles, they did the same with beauty treatments, and then beauty products.
When their nephew, Christophe took up the torch, the Carita spirit and its pioneering work lived on. Today, it continues to thrive in the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.
Carita’s instantly effective range of products scientifically targets every women’s individual skin care needs to produce results that will delight and astonish.
“Therapists combine specially developed massage techniques with the advanced technology of the exclusive ‘pro-lifting’ equipment. This is a remarkable tool used to stimulate the pores to enable deep cleansing; to intensify the nourishing benefits of the products; and in to produce instant and extraordinary anti-aging effects, as fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed,” affirms Lumley.
