Expansions, new openings or closures?
We have ended 2005 with the launch of our new brand of hotels, Centro, which is a well needed product in the Middle East and we are starting 2006 with nine additional Rotana Hotels across the Middle East bringing our portfolio to 40 properties.

The first of the group’s new properties to open will be the BurJuman Rotana Suites in Dubai in August 2006. Also in Dubai, Rotana Hotels will open the Media City Rotana Hotel with 467 rooms and suites in mid-2007. In Abu Dhabi, the multi-use Park Rotana Hotel & Suites is expected to be completed by the end of 2007.
More openings are likely in 2008, including properties in Fujairah, Bahrain and Amman. Three Centro by Rotana hotels will open in Negotiations are currently under way for properties in Cairo, Jeddah and in Riyadh.
We are also opening new outbound sales offices in India, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Strategy in the face of competition?
Rotana Hotels focuses on the needs of the client and gives the guest all the attention he deserves. We introduce everything that the guest needs and follow the trends to ensure that our guests are satisfied. We are known for our knowledge of the market and our focus is on the guests rather than competition. We are expanding big time and our resources are all focused on our existing clientele and to introduce new clientele to our properties.
