The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company was named number one for business travel in Europe, Middle East & Africa by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler in the magazine’s Eighth Annual Business Travel Awards.
Among hotel chains in Europe, the Middle East & Africa, The Ritz-Carlton ranked top of the list for highest marks overall in the categories of: rooms equipped for working, business services/ facilities, dining/ restaurants, front desk service, overall design and value for cost.
In Europe, The Ritz-Carlton received the leading score of 86.6, surpassing the competition by 4.3 points. In Africa/ Middle East, again The Ritz-Carlton was listed in the top spot with a score of 84.4, ahead of the competition by 1.7 points. In the Americas and the US, The Ritz-Carlton was listed in the number two and number three spots respectively.
Condé Nast Traveler said, “Among hotels chains in Europe and in Africa and the Middle East, The Ritz-Carlton claims the top spot, with rooms getting especially high marks. Little wonder: most Club accommodations come with high-speed internet access, fax machines, and (since most tend to be on upper floors) prime views.
