Mövenpick Bahrain redefines festive celebrations

I want to do something different for New Year’s this year is an oft-heard refrain that seldom materialises into reality.

Come December and everyone goes through the same exercise of calling up friends and family to update ourselves on what’s lined up for the festive season. In Bahrain, the options aren’t many, be it for Christmas or New Year’s. Some prefer a sit-down dinner, others opt for a “dance all night” party and yet others plan an informal night out with friends and family. But what if there was an option that covered a bit of everything and actually gave you the best of all worlds with the freedom to select a New Year’s Eve party that best suits your personality and mood? The festive celebrations at Mövenpick Hotel, which will be launched on December 24, with a stylish, five-course Christmas eve dinner in the Silk’s Restaurant, could be just what you are looking for. The restaurant will be decorated to match the festive spirit with your favourite Christmas songs playing all evening.
On December 25, at the Christmas day lunch in Silk’s and the Gallery Lobby Lounge, the mood will be joyous, replete with a family spirit and a day-long celebration that includes gorging on sumptuous food, listening to Christmas music and saying “cheers” with a free flow of drinks. The Christmas lunch will be held at the Silk’s Restaurant. The highlight of the lunch will be the free use of swimming pool, free flow of red and white sparkling, soft drinks and a fun-filled kid’s corner to make this Christmas memorable for the entire family. The festive lunch will feature live-cooking stations and traditional Christmas specialties. It will be an ideal opportunity to experience renowned culinary expertise and Swiss hospitality first hand.
However, it’s the exciting New Year’s eve party planned by the Mövenpick that promises to be the most fun-filled and unique venue in town. It’s probably the only hotel with free movement between four themed outlets. To top it, there will be cuisines from around the world and to add to your convenience, all the participating outlets are on the ground level – the Gallery Lobby Lounge, Silk’s Restaurant, Palms by the poolside and the Flamingo Lounge. Each of the outlets will have a special décor and cuisine to go with it. Guests buy just one ticket and then spend the entire evening moving freely from one outlet to the other sampling the lavish buffets laid out all through the hotel. A few highlights of the buffet will be live seafood presentations, meat carving stations, sushi and sashimi station, free flow of sparkling and beverages, and classic desserts and ice-cream spreads.
