Olcott

Jack Olcott, one of the world’s leading experts on the value of business aviation, is to chair this November’s Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) conference, the first of its kind to be staged alongside any Dubai air show.

“Jack’s involvement is a major coup for this inaugural event and will go a long way to positioning this conference worldwide as a premier forum for business aviation development,” said Clive Richardson, chief executive, Aerospace Division, of Dubai air show organiser Fairs & Exhibitions (F&E), which is also organising MEBA in conjunction with Abu Dhabi-based Royal Jet, the international luxury VIP aircraft charter company which is hosting the conference.
Olcott, who currently heads up the US’ award-winning General Aero Company, a provider of business aviation solutions, is a former president of the Washington DC-headquartered National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). The association is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the success of the business aviation community and represents the interests of over 7,000 companies that own or operate general aviation aircraft as a business aid or are involved in some other aspect of business aviation.
MEBA will be held at Le Meridien Dubai on November 19, 2005, the day prior to the opening of Dubai 2005. The event is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president, Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai, and chairman of the Emirates Group who will deliver MEBA’s keynote address.
