Abu Dhabi’s first luxury boutique hotel has introduced a special package of incentives for wedding celebrations, aimed at establishing itself as the venue of choice for marriage parties in the emirate.
The Al Raha Beach Hotel has just 110 rooms but its ballroom and entertainment facilities are comprehensive including the Abu Dhabi Grand Ballroom, which is 924 sq m in size, has a built-in stage and can cater for up to 500 people sitting down banquet style.
The resort also features a second ballroom, ample pre-dining areas and boasts the most culturally diverse brigade of chefs in Abu Dhabi. According to general manager Kamel Zayati a splendid setting and a vast choice of menu are among the prime reasons that Al Raha Beach Hotel has become a key wedding venue in the capital.
“As the newest star in the hotel scene in Abu Dhabi, we are also capitalising on our novelty value, but once guests have seen the magnificence of the ballroom with its wedding decorations and tasted our chef’s creations, it creates a very good impression.”
Included in the wedding package is an overnight stay in a Royal Suite for the couple, with rose-petal Jacuzzi and free chocolates, as well as an invitation back to the hotel for dinner as a first anniversary present.
Manager in charge of weddings, Fatima Al Gizouli, said it was the atmosphere created in the ballroom, rather than the frills, which was the biggest appeal of Al Raha Beach Hotel. “By hosting a wedding party here, the bride and other guests can take advantage of our spa for massage and beauty treatments, while our spacious suites come with specialised toiletries and linens, and this all helps to create a luxurious and very distinctive atmosphere on that special day,” she said. “But, the Abu Dhabi Grand Ballroom dressed in its wedding finery is the icing on the cake.”
