Dnata Agencies, which has been appointed GSA for Kurdistan Airlines in the Gulf, will represent and market Kurdistan Airlines in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman.
Based in Arbil in Iraq, Kurdistan Airlines recently launched twice weekly Boeing 737 in a two-class configuration offering a total of 109 seats. Representing the airline, Yahya M Ali, commercial representative of the Kurdistan Region, said: “We recently launched the first-ever commercial flight between Dubai and Arbil and this new airlink will help contribute to the development of the Kurdistan region in Iraq”.
Rashid Al Noori, senior vice-president at Dnata Agencies, said, “We are pleased to represent Kurdistan Airlines as GSA in the Gulf region and we will use our extensive regional network of partner agencies to support and grow the airline’s business”. In Dubai, Dnata Agencies will provide Kurdistan Airlines with a dedicated ticket desk on the ground floor of the Dnata Travel Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road. It will also manage the airline’s ticket stock throughout the UAE and provide sales and marketing support for the region via its extensive partner network.
