Hilton International's two properties in Cairo are offering special rates for the Mediterranean Travel Fair (MTF) this month in a special promotion titled Layali Cairo.
The Nile Hilton and the Ramses Hilton are offering single or double rooms starting at $115 per room per night as part of the Layali Cairo promotion, a Hilton spokesman said.
The offer also includes meet and assist service for guests arriving at the Cairo International Airport and transportation from the airport to the hotels in air-conditioned luxury cars.
The promotion which was launched on May 1, is valid until September 30, the spokesman said.
Hilton has played a key role at last year's MTF by hosting a gathering of travel writers attending the fair.
The hotel chain was the first international chain to begin operations in Egypt in 1959.
"We have been pioneers in all major destinations and presently operate 14 hotels with three more to open by the end of the year," said Carmen Ramzy, regional director for public relations, Hilton International Egypt.
Besides the two prime properties in Cairo, Hilton operates three hotels in Sharm El Sheikh with a fourth, the Hilton Shark Bay Resort, to open at the end of this year.
The chain has two hotels at the other premier tourist destination of Hurghada on the Red Sea.
There are Hilton hotels and resorts also at Taba, Nuweiba, Dahab, Ain Sokhna, Luxor and the North Coast. Two more Hiltons are to open soon - the Hilton Ras Sidr Resort in Ras Sidr and the Hilton Pyramids Golf Resort at Sixth of October.
The Cairo Nile Hilton is situated along the River Nile, commanding panoramic views of the Nile and the city.
The hotel is located in the heart of Cairo, adjacent to the world-famous Egyptian Museum and within walking distance of the main business and shopping centre, as well as key embassies and government institutions.
Extensive facilities are available for conferences, conventions, exhibitions and banquets. Meeting rooms of various sizes can accommodate different needs, from major international events to small functions.
A wide variety of dining and beverage services offer international and oriental delicacies. Restaurants and bars include a tavern, an Italian restaurant, a fun-pub/ disco, food court, and a fine dining restaurant, the renowned Rotisserie Belvedere.

The hotel also offers exercise facilities including swimming pool and sundeck.
Meeting facilities can accommodate up to 840 delegates, while full business services are also available.
