As Dubai emerges as a regional business and tourism hub attracting visitors year-round from across the globe, the UAE’s car rental market continues to grow exponentially to meet this growing demand for short-term use vehicles.
Having opened in strategic locations in Dubai last year, Dollar Rent A Car is poised to remain at the forefront of this growing market with five new outlets set to open in the next two months, it was announced today.
“Our aggressive expansion plan in the region continues to gain momentum and the locations chosen for our new outlets reflect our strategy, aimed at capturing market share across the Emirates,” said Sumit Chopra, general manager, Dollar Rent A Car.
The new Dollar Rent A Car outlets will be located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Airport-Terminal 1, Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, and the Green Community in Dubai. Fully-operational outlets can already be found on the Sheikh Zayed Road, Bur Dubai, Deira, Karama, and the Dubai International Airport, Terminal 2.
Visitors to Dubai during this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) can also enjoy a 60 percent discount across a broad spectrum of vehicles, when they visit any of the conveniently-located Dollar Rent A Car outlets.
“Events such as the DSS are certain to attract an influx of short-term visitors to Dubai from the GCC and neighbouring countries. As a relatively new entrant into the region’s competitive car rental market, we are determined to capitalise on this spike in demand by ensuring that we have the necessary resources, vehicles and presence to offer quality car rental services and value for money,” added Chopra.
