Sheraton Suites Abu Dhabi, previously Sheraton Residence, has undergone a series of renovations leading it to be one of Abu Dhabi’s most prestigious and exciting properties.
Al Hamed Limited, the hotel’s owning company, has invested Dh35 million in the project, which started in June 2003.
All 195 rooms have been refurbished elegantly creating an intimate ambience while overlooking the waters of the Arabian Gulf and a panoramic view of Abu Dhabi city. A fully-equipped kitchen is available in all rooms along with a washing machine and dryer. For the guests’ utmost comfort, each room has its own microwave, trouser press, hair dryer, safe, and hot plate, in addition to all the other essentials. The hotel’s new name, Sheraton Suites, reflects a clear image of what has become a brand of excellence under the chain of Starwood hotels and resorts.
“Our aim was to provide our guests with a choice of 195 deluxe studios and suites, ideally designed for both long-term and short-term stays, featuring the ultimate in comfort and luxury,” explains Gabriel Khoury, general manager of the Sheraton Suites.
Located on the Mezzanine floor and easily accessible from the hotel’s lobby via an elegant staircase, a choice of six fully serviced meeting rooms which can accommodate from 10 to 150 persons. The state-of-the art facilities offer a practical and modern decor with plenty of natural daylight, high speed internet connection, and the latest in conferencing equipment. The upgraded Health Club features a fully equipped gymnasium, separate sauna and steam bath for males and females, a temperature controlled rooftop swimming pool and a stunning new leisurely sun deck.
