Alshamel International, Kuwait’s largest travel management company, will showcases its services at ATM again. Nearly a decade since its inception the company, which owns Alshamel Travel & Tourism, an IATA approved full brokerage travel management firm, has grown from a six-employee business to over 200 employees at various offices in Kuwait and the Gulf.
After the successful inauguration of the Qatar Alshamel Travel office, other GCC offices have also been established in Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE. Alshamel is also now fully operational in both Syria and Egypt.
Looking back at the surprising levels of success, Alshamel International chairman Abdulrahim Al Awadi described this phenomenon growth as “the collective effort of an outstanding group of employees.” He also explained recent in-house projects, which include a newly-established call centre and e-learning courses, have helped increase the various skills needed to maintain and develop the organisation’s top status in the travel business.
Alshamel specialises in every aspect of the travel, tourism and aviation industry, ranging from airline tickets, hotel bookings, car hire and travel technology.
