n Rabab El Masri has been appointed as assistant director of catering sales of InterContinental Heliopolis Cairo hotel. El Masri, who was previously director of banquet at Meridien Heliopolis, has ten years’ experience in the catering field.

n Oussama Massoud has been appointed general manager of Crowne Plaza Amman. Massoud, who has studied at the Hotel Training Centre in Amman and the Centre International de Glion, Switzerland, comes with extensive experience in the Middle East and European markets.

n Alain Kropf has joined the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers, Abu Dhabi, as the new EAM in charge of F&B. Kropf has moved from Al Bustan Palace Hotel, where he was director of F&B. He has vast international experience.
Changes at Sheraton Dubai Creek
n The Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers has appointed Sandra Bunz as the new director of human resources and Gisleine Noblet as training manager. German-born Bunz has been working in the hotel industry for many years while half-Italian-half-Brazilian Noblet has worked as training manager in the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort & Towers outlets before joining the Sheraton Dubai.
Salamoun rejoins Flamingo
n Fadi Salamoun has rejoined Flamingo Hotel Management Company as the regional sales and marketing manager. Fadi has worked for Dubai’s Crowne Plaza Hotel and Al Bustan Residence, Hilton Abu Dhabi and Flamingo Hotel Management Company before moving to Beirut and heading the operation of the Castle Mare Beach Hotel & Resort.

Hala Beisha has been appointed PR manager of the soon-to-open Four Seasons Hotel Doha. Beisha, who holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in hotel and food administration from the University of Guelph, Ontario, was previously director of PR at Four Seasons Hotel Amman.
