New Audi joins Hertz UAE
DUBAI: Audi announced it will be even more visible across the UAE with the signing of a mega deal to provide Hertz UAE – one of the region’s top car rental companies – with a number of its high-quality automobiles.

A consignment of Audi A4, Audi A6 and Audi A8 cars, all 2005 models, is joining Hertz UAE’s fleet which already boasts a variety of economy and luxury vehicles as well as 4x4s.

Al Badia opens to public
DUBAI: The magnificent Al Badia 18-hole championship golf course, built on the banks of Dubai Creek as part of the waterfront Dubai Festival City, has opened for ‘pay and play’ golfers.The 7,250 yards, par 72 course, designed by internationally-renowned golf architect Robert Trent Jones II, is the newest of Dubai’s golf courses and the first to make use of the salt tolerant and environmentally friendly Paspalum grass.

WLC makes Dubai debut
DUBAI: The first international office of the World Luxury Council (WLC) has opened at Media City in Dubai. As the international arm of the London-based British Luxury Council, the WLC is shortly opening offices in Moscow and Shangha. It has chosen Dubai to spearhead expansion due to the exceptional pace of development in both the city and the region’s retail and tourism industries. According to Mark Miller, WLC managing director in Dubai, the potential seen in the luxury goods sector was increasingly becoming a focus for many organisations in the region.

The Jungle Reserve opens at Soneva Fushi Resort & Spa
BANGKOK: In line with the position as innovator of exceptional resort experiences for guests, Six Senses Resorts & Spas have introduced the first tree-house in the Maldives as part of the unique Jungle Reserve at Soneva Fushi. The Jungle Reserve at Soneva Fushi covers a footprint of 700 sq m and comprises a beachfront villa with the Soneva signature Robinson Crusoe ambience and a large luxurious open air private garden bathroom. Cruising on the Hebridean
