FIVE years later and consumers and critics agree – Westin Hotels and Resorts is still the best in bed.
Since making its debut in 1999, the Westin Heavenly Bed has reached near iconic stature, and sparked a bedding revolution in the hotel industry that continues to this day. More than 19 million guests have tucked themselves into a Heavenly Bed on the road including thousands of celebrities, sports icons and politicians and some 30,000 guests have insisted on taking the all-white Heavenly Bed and linens home.
Westin Jeddah, being the only Westin in the Middle East, is the hotel in region which boasts these Heavenly Beds. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of Heavenly Beds, the Westin Jeddah threw a big party for its housekeeping staff.
GM Jean Pierre Garnier, who attended the party, thanked the housekeeping staff for their efforts in presenting the Heavenly Bed properly to the hotel customers. Westin Hotels & Resorts also extended a very unique offer for its worldwide staff by offering 30 per cent discount
“The Westin Jeddah has many facilities which hopefully will make a guest’s stay at the hotel and experience of limitless pleasure – whether it’s our refreshing pool, our fully-equipped fitness club or our Westin signature Heavenly Beds,” said Garnier. “When we talk about what Westin Jeddah has to offer its guests, we not only highlight the features of our rooms, but also our gourmet restaurants,” added Shamel Droubi, director of sales and marketing, “We have some of the best internationally trained chefs in the Kingdom preparing exquisite cuisines from around the world.”
