Cathay Pacific recently opened its new premium lounge at Bahrain International Airport.
With its clean lines and calm quality atmosphere, the lounge follows the innovative design of its two award-winning signature lounges at Hong Kong airport acclaimed for their design and service style.
Conveniently located between Gates 16 and 17 and served with a direct escalator, the lounge offers a haven of comfort. Designed to accommodate 34 passengers, a number of the seats are fitted with power and phone sockets for laptop computers enabling passengers to remain plugged into the office, wherever in the world it may be. Additionally, the lounge offers desk and chair combinations with computers allowing businessmen to take the opportunity to polish off unfinished work or browse the internet. A 42-inch wall-mounted plasma television screen enables passengers to catch up on news or sport. And the Long Bar, distinguished with white Italian marble, provides a spectacular overview of the airport apron through vast windows. Early evening and dusk are the best times as aircraft create a fast moving light show as they taxi or take-off into the setting sun.
“This lounge is a fantastic new facility for our passengers and demonstrates yet again Cathay Pacific’s commitment to Bahrain and to the continuous improvement of our products and services,” commented Adrian Gane, Cathay Pacific’s regional manager for Middle East, India and Africa.
