Starwood to run new Lebanon hotel

STARWOOD Hotels & Resorts has announced that work on the Four Points Le Verdun, the second Four Points property in Lebanon and the first in Beirut, has been completed.

The property will be operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts under a management agreement. The development of the project is in its final stage.
The newly-built 13-storey hotel will offer 132 guest-rooms including 22 stylish spacious suites. A French fusion cuisine restaurant, lobby bar, roof-top heated pool with a bar, health club, massage, business services, a first class executive boardroom; and two meeting rooms are among the hotel facilities.
Hotel general manager Erik Vedsegaard, said: “With its prime location in Verdun, the Four Points Le Verdun will certainly fulfill the needs of the most discerning traveler.”
As an introductory package, the Four Points Le Verdun will have attractive rates on offer, valid till December 29, 2004. Starting from $79 for single and $89 for double rooms including buffet breakfast in its Bistro. Starwood Preferred members who stay for a minimum of two nights will immediately earn 1,000 Starpoints upon check-in.
