WITH a recent facelift and a revitalised menu, Seabreeze at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa is adding a continental feel to Dubai’s restaurant scene with its Mediterranean design and healthy dishes.
The new menu sees new dishes alongside the restaurant’s signature meals, including the addition of vegetarian dishes, which were created to cater to the growing demand in the market.
Executive chef Patrick Lannes explains: “In an industry as competitive as Dubai, we have to constantly evolve; if you don’t move forward then you get left behind by the competition. Our addition of more healthy cuisine options comes as a response to customer demand; all vegetables are prepared carefully to preserve the vitamins while maintaining the flavour.”
Vegetable dishes at Seabreeze are cooked in olive oil for a strong Mediterranean flavour, and the number of contrasting flavours is kept to a minimum. For the balmier winter months, Seabreeze opens its terrace, so diners can enjoy the food while overlooking the landscaped gardens and sea air.
