SRS-WORLDHOTELS, which includes hotels in the UAE, Lebanon, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia in its portfolio, has launched a new website designed specifically for agents: www.srs-worldhotels.com/travelagents.
The site features agent-related information about the group’s products and services such as commission payments, Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and partnership programmes.
“Agents can register online to access the site. About 75 per cent of global revenue at the hotel sales, marketing and reservations organisation is generated by agencies,” said Christian Federer, VP, sales and marketing, EMEA, SRS-Worldhotels, Germany. “The service is aimed at strengthening our relationship with the travel industry. Registered agents receive regular newsletters, which contain information on the latest promotions and more.” The portal is part of a broader ‘Be Connected’ marketing campaign and aims at raising sales by 15 per cent in its segment. Special familiarisation rates and travel prizes are on offer at the site.
