THE Dusit Dubai has witnessed a very strong and a rewarding year in 2004.

“We have achieved occupancy levels of 85 per cent or more year-to-date which is above last year’s levels”, said hotel general manager Doug King, attributing the growth to a significant performance by niche markets, including the GCC and corporate.
This year’s strong summer was due to Dubai’s positioning as a booming destination in world tourism, said King. “Feeder markets are aware of Dubai’s splendid attractions, evident in emirate-wide occupancy levels. Much of the contribution has been by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and Emirates airline.”
Centrally located on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road, the hotel combines the latest
in luxury with traditional Thai hospitality and five minutes from the World Trade Centre. The Dusit
also offers one and two bedroom fully-serviced and fully-furnished apartments, which provide an ideal home for long-staying and short-term family visits. In addition, the hotel also features cutting-edge MICE facilities and several superb dining options.
