Successful summer for Air Arabia

AIR Arabia has completed its inaugural summer season with over 200,000 passengers and a load factor of 80 per cent.

The airline also introduced 35 additional summer flights to meet customer demand throughout the region and opened its own travel shops across the UAE and in key destinations.
AK Nizar, Air Arabia’s head of sales, said the airline far exceeded its initial expectations of the market. “Not only did we offer passengers lower fares, but if a customer booked early enough they could obtain a flight at 50-percent lower than the market price.” Nizar said the summer also saw the airline generally offering superior service levels with a consistent punctuality record of 87-percent on-time departures.
