EVEN as it celebrates its fifth anniversary, the Al Diar Siji Hotel in Fujairah is planning extensive refurbishments.
These include up-to-date communication systems that will allow guests faster internet access, whether plugged in or wireless, said hotel general manager Fouad Melhem. Once completed, this will provide unmatched-speed internet access in every guest room, in the business centre, executive lounge, public areas such as the lobby and swimming pool as well as the F&B outlets of the hotel.
“Renovations already completed include the newly-built business center that gives business travellers a sumptuous elegant executive lounge with four PCs for internet access and laptop section, photocopying, printing, administrative work, courier assistance, fax and scanning,” said Melhem. “We also have a state-of-the-art boardroom and meeting room with the latest technologies and a new auditorium with built-in soundproof walls, with complete audio-visual equipment and video conferencing system.”
The hotel has also replaced all its beds with what it calls ‘Heavenly Beds’. “All our guests are now transported to the ultimate in sleeping comfort because we have decided to upgrade our beds to meet the highest standards of sleeping pleasure,” said Melhem.
