SRS-WORLDHOTELS, which includes hotels in the UAE, Lebanon, Bahrain, Jordan and Saudi Arabia in its portfolio, has launched its ‘Worldsaver’ summer promotion. Running from July 1 to August 31, the programme offers discounts of up to 50 per cent or more at over 400 participating hotels worldwide.
It is valid for even a stay of one night only, includes complimentary breakfast at most participating hotels and features upgrades on availability.
"This is a great opportunity for Middle Eastern travellers to enjoy their summer holidays in Europe, Asia, Africa or America and save on accommodation costs without compromising on quality," said Christian Fiederer, vice-president, sales and marketing EMEA, SRS-WorldHotels. Every booking made during this period earns 1,500 miles which can be credited to any of eight frequent flyer programmes including Delta SkyMiles, Lufthansa Miles & More, Thai Orchid Plus, United Airlines Mileage Plus, Varig Smiles, American Airlines AAdvantage, ANA Mileage Club and Asiana Bonus Club.
Additionally, Worldsasver guests can win a weekend for two in one of the participating hotels. To enter the draw, guests simply send an email to [email protected] giving the official reservation confirmation code, name of the hotel booked and their contact information. Winners will be announced in the second week of October 2004.
Some properties are extending the promotion into September. Detailed information is available on www.srs-worldhotels.com. Travel agents making Worldsaver bookings that result in an overnight stay will receive between 10 to 15 per cent commission.
