THIS summer, Bahrain-based House of Travel Holidays offers special deals for travel agents and airline colleagues.
At a cost of $135, one family of two adults and two children under 12 years can stay in one room for two nights, inclusive of all meals and hotel current taxes at Kadavu Resort, Calicut, Abad Whispering Palm, Kumarakom, or avail two nights’ stay with breakfast alone at Le Meridien, Kochi. These offers are valid until September 15.
All bonafide employees of airline and travel agents are entitled to avail of this offer. House of Travel Holiday believes such promotions will boost business to India. Vijay Menon, general manager, said these promotions give sellers an opportunity to see the products they promote. 'Unless people in the trade are aware of the products, how can they sell to others?' he quipped. 'More special offers will assist in the promotion of different packages all over the world.' The company plans to offer agents similar deals on other destinations in the coming seasons.
For non-trade buyers, House of Travel Holidays offers guaranteed departure packages from BD232 per person to Lebanon, inclusive of return Economy Class airfare and seven days’ accommodation with transfers and breakfast at the hotel. A similar seven-day package to Malaysia (without airfare) starts at BD63 per person.
Other offers are Vienna for BD156, Salzburg for BD195, Innsbruck or Madrid for BD150, Amman BD69, Cairo BD63, Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh BD81, Barcelona BD165, Marbella BD267, Bangkok BD78, Penang BD66 and Langkawi BD84. All packages include seven days’ hotel accommodation with breakfast and hotel taxes per person on a sharing basis.
Another special offer is an executive health package to Mumbai, India with a total medical check-up for $250. The cost includes pick up and drop off at the airport; freshen up facilities with light refreshments; blood test, kidney and heart check-ups and so on.
