THE Safir Dana Beach Resort, Ajman, a four-star hotel, managed by Safir International Hotel Management, is ideally poised to meet the business needs of the corporate and government sector as well as to provide for tourists from all over the GCC and Europe, said general Jihad Hamed.
The hotel, which will be represented at the upcoming ATM, is situated opposite the beautiful Ajman beach, with easy access for guests.
“Constant improvement to meet the growth in guest satisfaction is very important to us,” said Hamed. In keeping with that philosophy, the hotel has currently completed a minor renovation that includes the addition of a new meeting room. With a capacity of 70 people, this allows the Safir Dana to double up as an unusual venue for both conferences and private gatherings.
“We are also gearing up for an exciting summer season with some new packages on offer, targeted at the GCC vacation customers,” added Hamed. These will be announced at the ATM and include free room nights and, at the end of the season, complimentary memberships to the hotel’s health club for selected guests.
The Safir Dana hotel has a total of 95 rooms, comprising 14 standard rooms, 36 deluxe studios, 33 one-bedroom suites including eight honeymoon suites and 12 two-bedroom suites. “Any couple that chooses to honeymoon with us will be offered special room rates, complimentary cakes and a gift from the hotel’s side as a souvenir of their time,” said Hamed. The décor in each of the rooms is chosen to make the hotel feel like home and is far away from the mass-produced furniture chosen by most hotels.
The hotel attracts substantial numbers of guests from the GCC, Germany and the CIS and is now seeking to attract the English tourist. “We have received tremendous positive feedback from the European and GCC customers last season and this was echoed at ITB Berlin 2004. So, we’re hoping to build on our success this year,” said Hamed.
The hotel also features a day-long restaurant, the Al Seef, 24-hour room service and a two-storey health club with a temperature-controlled pool. Special shuttle services to the shopping districts of Dubai and Sharjah is also available. The Safir Dana Beach Resort is part of the Safir Hotels group.
