Security and comfort top priority at Riyadh’s Rosewood properties
Guest comfort and security come first at the Rosewood Hotels and Resorts’ properties in Riyadh, said managing director Michael A Gibb.
“When it comes to the guests’ comfort and security, we never relax,” he said. The group has recently invested heavily to upgrade security systems at the ultra-luxury Al Faisaliah Hotel, while its sister property, the
Al Khozama, is undergoing a renovation in excess of SAR 7 million ($1.87 million).
The Al Faisaliah continues to set service standards in the Kingdom. A technical and architectural masterpiece in a prestigious location, with exceptional quality and matchless personal service, the hotel’s 197 rooms and 27 suites are recognised as the most elegant and spacious in Saudi Arabia, featuring individually-chosen designer furnishings and extensive imported guest amenities. The hotel also has an impressive conference and banquet centre, the largest column-free meeting space in the Kingdom and a lavish Health and Wellness Suite.
“With its 24-hour dedicated butler service to all guestrooms and suites, the Al Faisaliah Hotel has elevated the art of personalised guest service to a new level that is still unmatched in the Kingdom,” said Gibb. “In terms of guests’ comfort and security, we have recently invested heavily to upgrade our security systems, creating a ‘sense of security’ for our guests in ultimate luxury.”
All rooms and suites now features high-speed Internet access, and guests merely need to connect their laptop to the room’s network ports to get access to the web.
At the premier four-star deluxe HoteI Al Khozama Arab tradition blends peacefully with modern culture. Known for its five-star personalised guest services, the hotel features 175 guestrooms and 12 suites and serves as a central meeting and social centre for the city. The hotel is known as the businessmen’s first choice, featuring state-of-the-art facilities and imported amenities.
The Hotel Al Khozama boasts some of the finest restaurants in international and Arabic cuisine, a grand ballroom capable of hosting up to 900 guests, a private auditorium for upto 450, and a health club with equipment much sought after by fitness enthusiasts.
The Hotel Al Khozama has invested heavily to upgrade its facilities, added Gibb. The first phase of renovations has been completed for the 68 rooms and seven suites, lobby and landscaping, and the remaining rooms and suites will be completed by late 2004. “We are also delighted to announce the completion of the refurbishment of Al Khozama Sports Center, making it the best equipped health club facility currently available in Riyadh. In addition to the health club upgrade, we have recently revamped our Al Khozama Bowling Center which now offers Riyadh's demanding bowlers an experience that is unmatched in the city,” he said.
