Jeddah Hilton … the largest hotel complex in Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH has the well-earned reputation of being one of the most beautiful cities in the Arab world – what with green boulevards, gardens and open spaces, carefully preserved historical heritage, public art and charmed location by the exotic Red Sea.

The Jeddah Hilton, the Kingdom’s newest deluxe property located on the fashionable North Corniche overlooking vast expanses of the sea, is the city’s latest attraction.
The impressive triangular-shaped design allows each face of the building to command perspectives of the
city and spectacular balconied views of the sea. With 414 rooms, luxury accommodation, conference, meeting, business, banqueting, and recreation facilities, the Jeddah Hilton is the largest hotel complex in Saudi Arabia, and one of Hilton’s leading flagship properties in the world.
In a city renowned for its sophistication and discerning cosmopolitan atmosphere, the Jeddah Hilton has made its mark since its opening in July, 2001, with a refreshing approach to service that is highly professional and welcoming.
Designed for business and leisure travellers and the corporate business sector, the hotel hosts meetings, conferences, banquets and weddings and is already challenging many leading Middle East hotels. The Hilton’s Al Qasr Ballroom can accommodate 1,200 people whilst the 3,600 sq m Hilton Hall has a capacity of 2,500. External access sets the tone with a spacious roadway surrounded by a stepped series of falaj with fountains before entering the main hotel entrance and reception atrium comprising a magnificent circular garden courtyard of marble and granite. The triangular atrium is awe-inspiring from ground level or when rising more than 50 m in bubble elevators.
The entire complex provides a continuous array of outstanding perspectives ranging from artistic marble and glass mosaics in the various domes, walls and swimming pools either inside or outside the hotel such as Hiltonia Sports, Health Club and Spa.
These sports facilities include a gymnasium, fitness centre, billiards, two squash courts, three tennis courts and an ultra-modern bowling alley. And with more and more couples opting to hold their wedding ceremony at the Jeddah Hilton, it is only appropriate that the hotel is the perfect host for  new brides.
To add another feather to the hotel’s cap, Amwaj sur Mer will open its doors this month, informed General manager Hagop Doghramadjian. Offering a truly French fine dining experience, it will offer meticulous service and stunning views of the Red Sea from the top floor of the hotel. Chef de Cuisine Gerald Vaux and Maitre d’Hotel Tristan de la Porte de Theil is of the highest standard.
