THE most impressive hotel and conference venue ever to be built in the UAE’s capital has officially been named Bani Yas Palace‚ reflecting the project’s strong heritage and symbolic significance to Abu Dhabi and the UAE. Built in the style of a majestic Oriental
Castle rising from the sand, the colours of the Bani Yas Palace façade represent the different sand nuances found in the Arabian desert.
The Conference Centre houses the largest, most luxurious and tech-nologically advanced meeting facilities in the UAE with the total meeting and conference space exceeding 7,000 sq m and includes a state-of-the-art auditorium for 1,300 persons, the country’s largest ballroom, a high-tech media centre and 30 additional meeting rooms.
Located on a 1.3 km stretch of Abu Dhabi’s most beautiful sandy beach, Bani Yas Palace will also offer leisure facilities with two stunning pool landscapes and two luxurious spas at the end of each of the east and west wings.
The hotel comprises 390 luxury rooms and suites, while a variety of fine dining options will be provided in 16 food and beverage outlets. Bani Yas Palace will be completed in late 2004 and will be managed by Kempinski Hotels & Resorts.
