Jeddah Hilton: a huge success story

Jeddah Hilton … excellent service

Jeddah Hilton is a huge success story within the three years of its existence on the Corniche in this Red Port City.

By some coincidence, ever since it came into operation, there has been a slowdown in the businesses of other five-star hotels along the coastline.
Hilton's strategic location - a mere ten minutes drive from the Saudi Arabian Airlines terminal and 15 minutes to the international airlines terminal at King Abdul Aziz International Airport – makes it the preferred choice for discerning guests. What's more, it takes barely 20 minutes to get to the downtown area and is only 60 minutes away from the Holy City of Makkah.
With its luxurious bedrooms, excellent facilities and personalised service, Jeddah Hilton is the perfect spot for business meetings, social gatherings or, simply, pleasure. Overlooking the Red Sea, the hotel commands impressive sea and city views making it one of the most beautiful hotels in the area.
The hotel's 414 air-conditioned bedrooms and suites includes three royal suites, 17 luxurious suites, 24 standard suites. Its 12 floors include two executive floors designed to reflect both comfort and convenience.
Each room has two telephone lines for both international and local calls. Internet access, colour TV with 40 satellite channels, a mini fridge and a private balcony overlooking spectacular views of either the Red Sea or Jeddah city.
Designed to ease the pressure of everyday business, its spacious rooms in the executive floor feature outstanding amenities. Benefits include dedicated executive check-in and checkout facilities, complimentary break-fast, canapes and drinks served from 5.30pm to 8pm, use of photocopier and fax machine, TV, radio and CD player.
With its state-of-the-art, fully-equipped meeting rooms, its beautifully designed multi-functional ballrooms and its unique business centre,  Hilton is one of the most-sought-after locations for conferences. It has been the venue for the annual Jeddah Economic Forum and recently held the first Jeddah retail market conference.
Many official agencies and private companies consider it the most prestigious address to hold their meetings, press conferences and conventions. The hotel also has an attractive wedding hall. Its ballroom has the capacity for 2,500 persons for conferences, exhibitions and functions, and its ballroom has the capacity for 1,200 persons.
Its general manager, Hagop Doghramadijan, a graduate from the Glion Hotel School in Switzerland with a degree in hotel management, has been pivotal to the success of the hotel. With years of experience behind him – he worked at Abu Dhabi Hilton, Al Ain Hilton and Hilton Rabat in Morocco before being transferred to Saudi Arabia for
the opening of the Hilton Jeddah – he has laid a strong foundation for the hotel and
is constantly working on upgrading its services even further. Most recently, the hotel has introduced cordless Internet facilities for its guests.
