Saeed Al Nabouda, CEO, Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), announced the outlines of this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises, promised to provide the best, most colourful and beautiful events and activities in the history of the event.
“DSS 2004 is all set to commence on June 17 and go on until August 27,” he said. Under the overall theme, ‘Big Fun for Little Ones’ there will be ten theme weeks, or ‘surprises’, including five that were introduced in 2003. Different government departments will present a theme week each.
The ten weeks will start on June 17 with Art Surprises, followed by Ice Surprises, Sweet Surprises, Cartoon Surprises, Flower Surprises, Heritage Surprises, Adventure Surprises, Knowledge Surprises, Back-2-School Surprises and finally ending in true spectacular fashion with Colour Surprises.
Associates from the JW Marriott Dubai will engage in a host of DSS-linked activities, including live cooking demonstrations its chefs at the city’s shopping malls.
