ANOTHER excuse to get away from it all? Easter! We looked at packages on offer at some top European destinations.
• LONDON: Durley House has an Easter special of just Dhs2,475 ($673) per night for two persons for two nights accommodation in a luxury suite with a full English breakfast, theatre tickets with limousine transfers and chocolate treats. Children under six are free and can participate in the Easter Trail, a search for chocolate eggs hidden in the hotel. Offer valid from April 1 to 30.
• AMSTERDAM: Blakes is offering one night’s accommodation, continental breakfast, half hour's in-room massage and a day’s rental of two bicycles from Dh1,600 ($435.6) per room for a double room. The offer runs through May 31.
• LAUSANNE: The Beau Rivage Palace is offering a two-nights’ stay in a superior or deluxe room with lake views from April 9 to 12 from $451 per twin-sharing room, per night. The package includes a welcome drink, in-room fruits, flowers and chocolates, a full buffet daily breakfast and the hotel’s special Easter menu dinner, served in the famous La Rotonde restaurant, on one evening during their stay.
• EUROPE: From April 2 to 17, Hilton properties in Europe and Africa are offering an Easter package at euro 99 per night, including a ‘Hilton Breakfast’ and local taxes.
