A wider international exhibitor profile this year will further highlight the truly global nature of the Arabian Travel Market 2001.

New features such as business seminars focusing on issues affecting the travel and tourism industry will also lift the profile of the exhibition being held from May 1-4 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The event which is in its eighth year is set to break all previous records with representation from over 700 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and nearly 8,000 square metres of contracted floor space.

The popular Hosted Buyer Programme will be targeting the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) market, ensuring a higher level representation from this rapidly expanding sector.

"Arabian Travel Market continues to record year-on-year growth in terms of exhibitor numbers, space occupied and visitor turnout. This year will be no exception, with many new features at this years show," said Matt Thompson, the Group Exhibitions Director, Overseas Events, of organisers Reed Travel Exhibitions.
