Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline, announced the availability of complimentary ground transportation from Dubai and the Northern Emirates to Abu Dhabi Airport to all passengers booked on the airline.
As a result, Etihad guests flying in the Coral Zone will now be able to begin and end their journeys in Dubai, via connecting luxury coach service. Etihad also offers door-to-door pickup service by limousine to guests travelling in the airline’s Diamond and Pearl zones.
Dr Ahmed Bin Saif Al Nayhan, chairman of Etihad, says the new service is part of Etihad’s goal to move the airline away from traditional operations and bring new levels of comfort and value to the air travel experience.
He said: ‘We are determined to offer a superior product that meets or exceeds the expectations of our guests and one of our prime objectives is to provide a worry-free, travel experience.
Guests will be able to board luxury Volvo coaches from the new Etihad Airways office on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, to connect with all Etihad flights arriving and departing from Abu Dhabi airport. The connecting service to Al Ain is scheduled to begin on April 2.
Etiihad guests with confirmed reservations will be able to book coach transportation by calling the toll-free Etihad Reservation Centre on 800 2277.
