The Al Bustan Palace in Muscat, Oman, which is offering value packages for local Oman residents and GCC residents, has fared well with occupancy levels on the increase.

“The future looks promising, with more and more Middle Eastern and GCC travellers preferring to travel within the region,” said a hotel official.
A new Spa concept, managed by an international Spa group synonymous with the highest quality of Spa treatments, that Al Bustan Palace has introduced for the leisure traveller, is proving to be a major attraction. 
On ITB Berlin 2004, of which the hotel will be a part, an official said: “The Al Bustan Palace will be taking part at ITB Berlin 2004 and will be part of the Sultanate of Oman stand. We plan to showcase the six InterContinental Hotel Group properties in Oman and to promote Oman as a destination. ITB Berlin also gives us an opportunity to emphasise the high level of facilities and services available in Oman for the leisure, conference, incentive and business traveller.

The hotel offers a wide range of dining options designed to satisfy the most discerning palates. 
The Al Khiran Terrace is an all-day dining restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating offers an Italian a la carte menu as well as themed buffet dinners throughout the week.  
The Al Marjan is a French gourmet restaurant open for dinner, China Mood features the best in Szechwan, Cantonese and Shanghai cuisine and the Beach Pavilion offers seafood and grilled specialities for dinner and light snacks and meals throughout the day.
For authentic Omani hospitality, Seblat al Bustan is located in the date plantation on hotel grounds.
