Take an abundance of spices, a rainbow of colours, tantalising aromas and terrific textures....
Mix them together, then add the panache of executive chef Dharmen Makawana and you have a true taste of the Orient, soon to appear in many guises on the menus at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence.
While the overall concept is flavours of Asia, each Monday the cuisine of a chosen country will dominate, offering diners an ever changing taste trip via the many food stations. Over the coming weeks, the room service menus in the hotel will gradually adopt the new culinary concepts and other outlets in the hotel will also reflect the new Oriental influences.
This will all culminate, in the second half of the year, with the opening of a separate 65 seat Thai restaurant which will be created as a separate entity within the present Seasons restaurant. With an entrance fashioned on the doorway to a Thai temple and décor and lighting echoing the magnificent ancient structures of that country, the restaurant is scheduled to open in early summer.
“We are also planning other projects which will give our guests exciting new dining options within the hotel,” said Chef Dharmen. “These will encompass an exciting new culinary concept applied for the room service and the Pool Bar and Grill dining menus.”
