A Venetian carnival theme night is currently under way at the Mövenpick Hotel in Kuwait.
The Venice Carnival night, held evey Wednesday, runs until the end of this month at the hotel’s Bay’s International Restaurant.
The opening night of the seven-week Venice Carnival was attended by diplomats, dignitaries, and prominent businessmen from Kuwait.
They were accorded a warm welcome by the management of Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait and were treated with true excellence in Swiss hospitality.
General manager Ahmed Serafi commented: “The Venice Carnival, held annually in Venice, has been one of the most celebrated events throughout centuries. It attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world, who wear masks and participate in the carnival. We would like our guests and the people of Kuwait to participate in the events and experience the same revelry and excitement associated with the real Venice Carnival.
‘‘The Bay’s International Restaurant has recreated the carnival ambience to perfection with a masquerade, trio Italian opera, and a lavish buffet of sumptuous dishes during the seven-week-long carnival.”
All participants would receive one raffle ticket every time they participate in the carnival.
The tickets will be entered in a draw which will be held on the last night of the carnival and the grand prize winner will win two return tickets, sponsored by Qatar Airways, to Italy with three nights complimentary stay at Mövenpick Hotel Central Park, Rome.
