Freddy Farid, general manager of the Towers Rotana Hotel, Dubai, told TTN that the response to the hotel joining the Great Hotels of The World ‘Incentive and Business Travel’ in November last year has been overwhelming.
Headquartered in the UK, Great Hotels of the World represents the world’s greatest hotels and resorts in five niche market sectors: family, golf, romantic, spa and incentive & business travel. Membership of Great Hotels of the World is by invitation only and is limited to exceptional hotels within the recognised niche lifestyle sectors.
All of the hotels that have been selected to join Great Hotels of the World have had to meet certain criteria of minimum operating standards thus ensuring that those included are among the world’s most luxurious properties.
Commenting on the agreement Farid says: “We always look at expanding our wings by being affiliated with International organisations. Our property is in a prime location in Dubai and provides all levels of accommodation and facilities targeted mainly to the business visitors to the city.”
The Towers Rotana Hotel features 370 superbly appointed accommodation including 115 Executive Club Rotana rooms and suites, five Food & Beverage venues including Award-winning, international cuisine and entertainment, Bodylines is a state-of-the-art health and fitness centre along with a choice of ten well designed and fully equipped meeting rooms.
“We understand our guest mix and took their needs in to consideration and for this reason we have also implemented wireless Internet at the Towers Rotana Hotel,” adds Farid, who is constantly upgrading the facilities and quality of service at the hotel.
