The long-awaited opening of The Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Kuwait City is now here! This month has seen the soft opening of its property in the heart of Kuwait City.
“We are very excited to be welcoming guests into the first Courtyard by Marriott in the Middle East,” said Thomas Buehner, country general manager. ‘This is a very big step for Marriott in the region.”
Located in the heart of the business and banking district, The Courtyard Kuwait City is part of the Arraya Complex comprising an office tower, Arraya Convention Hall, Arraya shopping Mall and a multi level parking.
The open reception leads onto a large atrium with magnificent views of The Liberation Tower and The Kuwait Towers. The Atrium lounge is in the centre of the hotel which leads into the rest of restaurants, the panoramic elevators and the hotel guest rooms.
The Courtyard has 306 rooms split between the two towers. Rooms are spacious, modern and equipped with the latest technology. Features include in-room coffee making facilities, satellite television, high-speed Internet access, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, 24-hour laundry service, 24-hour room service, valet parking, business centre, health club and outdoor swimming pool.
Other services at the hotel include five meeting rooms, gift shop, car rental desk, airline confirmation desk, full concierge services and direct access to Arraya Shopping Mall.
For dining, the Courtyard by Marriott Kuwait City offers three outlets, all are located in the lobby level:
Il Forno, Italian restaurant serving the traditional Italian food for lunch and dinner, from Pasta and Risotto to fresh baked Pizza from the oven. Live entertainment include two-piece band and lady singer.
The Atrium, all day dining restaurant, serves International food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located in the heart of the lobby, the Atrium restaurant offers wonderful views of the Kuwait Towers.
