Four Seasons eyes more Mideast properties

Fours Seasons Cairo.

The Canada-based luxury hotel group Four Seasons plans to open several properties in the region, including in Dubai and other Gulf destinations, a report said.

The hotel chain has four hotels in the region already.
Four Seasons recently organized a roadshow in the region , incorporating general managers and sales directors from the group's hotels in London, Paris, Milan, Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Amman, Riyadh, Bali and Singapore.
The roadshow covered Kuwait, Riyadh, Jeddah and Bahrain.
'The Middle East is a new major market for Four Seasons and our commitment to the region is reflected in our growing portfolio of properties in the region,' said Bahram Sepahi General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh.

The group will open a second hotel in Cairo in the third quarter of 2004 and their second Gulf property in Doha is en route for a late 2004/early 2005 opening. Currently under construction are luxury properties in Beirut, Alexandria and Damascus. By the end of 2006, the group will have nine hotels operational in the region.
