While visitor numbers were hit in the first half of this year, Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa management reports that tourism is rebounding quickly and long-term prospects remain 'extremely bright'.
General manager Pam Wilby said the luxury resort exceeded its sales targets for 2003, and has finished with guest numbers and revenue up on 2002.
According to Wilby, the Dubai destination magic was still very much in evidence despite the climate of uncertainty earlier this year, with many European tour operators exuding confidence.
