Frank Reichenbach has taken over as general manager of the Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain.

Offering Swiss hospitality in an Arabian setting, the Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain is all set for a January launch with Reichenbach heading a multi-cultural team of seasoned professionals.

An alumnus of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Reichenbach, a Swiss national, has moved around the world with the leading names of the hotel industry. He started his career with Mövenpick restaurants of Switzerland 24 years ago, and then went on to serve the Shangri-La, Peninsula and the Regent Groups.

He has traveled widely between Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippines and China to gain wider experience in the hospitality industry, and later, it was his stints as general manager that took him to Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia as well.
Bassem Fattouh has joined as front office manager.

With a decade in the hospitality industry to draw experience from, this Lebanese national says, “the role of the front office in a hotel operations appealed to him the most as it deals directly with people and is seen as the pulse of the entire operation.”

A diploma in hotel management from the Swiss hotel management school, Les Roches, has stood him in good stead throughout his various appointments with some of the leading names in the hotel industry such as Hyatt Regency Hotel in the UAE and the InterContinental in Geneva. His last assignment was with the InterContinental Le Vendome in Beirut.

Bassem says the strategic location of the hotel opposite the airport, and overlooking a sprawling lagoon, makes it a truly unique property in Bahrain.

Christian Corradi has joined as food and beverage manager.
As F&B manager for the hotel, Corradi shoulders the responsibility of introducing Bahrain to the fine art of Swiss dining. Although, the hotel is slated to open in January, it’s a role he’s begun to enjoy already!
