Key market segments in addition to GCC originated business are Europe and latterly for the Christmas/New Year period, Japan, with wholesale leisure business from these markets set to maximise occupancies.

“During September and October we were running at full throttle and the expected dip during Ramadan has given us a much needed breather, so we are all set to fulfil December targets and see the hotel buzzing with activity in all areas of the operation,” commented Kent Cooper, director of sales & marketing.

The hotel has also just launched its festive season dining and entertainment programme with all bases covered from Teddy Bear Teas and gala dinners to Christmas take-out options and rejuvenating brunches.

Entertainment-wise December focus is on the hotel’s club, Tangerine which, in addition to celebrating its first birthday with a VIP party on December 7, welcomes Buddha Bar Paris resident DJ Ravin for an end of year one-nighter on Thursday December 11.
