Radisson SAS group is looking to expand its presence in the Middle East, its regional director for Middle East and China, Thorsten Kirschke, says.
Kirschke said Saudi Arabia was important for the group as a feeder market and discussions were currently in progress there about a number of sites.
The possibility of a second Radisson SAS hotel in Oman at Salalah was also being considered. Radisson SAS, which currently has properties in Muscat, Kuwait and Bahrain, is also looking at possibilities in Dubai. It is also planning a major expansion in Egypt with the number of hotels there to increase to 10 by the end of 2003.
